Tim worked with his dad this weekend to put the finishing touches on the coop and it's looking so good I stop to turn around to admire it whenever I walk away.
They trimmed the windows, finished the steps and added the guillotine style door operated with a rope and pulley system which can be opened and shut by our kids.
The only thing left to finish are the nesting boxes and the permanent run for the chicks. Then we just sit and wait for those first eggs to appear around November.
