I had a twenty tucked away in my pocket just in case. The festival flyer said it was all free but there had a to be a catch. But you know what? That twenty stayed in my pocket the whole time. It really was all free. Earlier in the spring we built a chicken coop and bought a metal roof at this company and while we were there they gave us the flyer for their upcoming festival.
Rides, games, prizes, lunch, ice cream, popcorn, live bluegrass music, and tractor rides. All of it free. It was so nice not having to tell the boys no about anything because of the cost. The twenty stayed tuck away in my pocket the whole time and we had a great time where I could relax and say yes to everything. We'll definitely make this a yearly tradition.
